Fusha
These terms apply when you use the Fusha app. By creating an account you agree to them. They are deliberately short; nothing important is hidden in a subclause.
Your account
You need an account to use Fusha, and you are responsible for keeping access to it, in practice for your password. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has got into it.
One account is for one person. You may not share it, resell access, or use Fusha to build a competing dictionary by extracting cards in bulk.
You can delete your account from within the app at any time. We can close an account that is being used to abuse the service, and we will tell you why.
Free and Plus
Fusha is free to use, with a limit on how many new words you can look up and how many photos of word lists you can import each month. Looking up a word that is already in Fusha does not count against that limit.
Fusha Plus is an auto-renewing subscription that raises those limits. It is sold per month or per year. It does not make the limits disappear, and it does not unlock features that free accounts lack. The allowance and the price are shown in the app before you confirm anything.
The first week of Plus is free. Apple or Google decides whether you are eligible for that week; if you had a free week before, you may not get another. Cancel before the week ends and you pay nothing.
Billing, and how to stop
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple or Google, depending on where you installed the app. We never see or handle your payment details. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when the free week ends, or when you confirm the purchase if there is no free week.
A subscription renews automatically, for the same period and at the same price, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You cancel it in your Apple or Google account settings rather than in Fusha; that is how both stores require it to work. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Plus until the period you already paid for runs out.
Refunds are handled by the store you bought through, under their policy. If something goes wrong, mail us anyway. We would rather help than point at a form.
What the app promises, and what it does not
Word cards are generated by AI, and AI gets things wrong. A card can contain a translation that is off, a grammatical note that does not hold in every context, or an example sentence that a native speaker would phrase differently.
Fusha is a study aid. Do not rely on it for anything where being wrong has consequences: legal texts, medical information, religious rulings, or contracts. For those, ask a person who knows.
Found a card that is wrong? Report it from the card itself. That is the fastest way to get it fixed for everyone.
We do our best to keep Fusha available and working, but we do not promise it will never be down or never lose a beat. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, we do. Where it does not, and Dutch consumer law protects a good deal, your rights stand regardless of what this page says.
Your words are yours
The vocabulary list you build, the decks you make and your progress belong to you. The app itself, its design and the card content stay ours.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that affects you, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. If you do not agree with the new terms, you can delete your account.
Which law applies
Dutch law. If we cannot resolve a dispute between us, it goes to the competent court in the Netherlands. That does not take away the protections you have as a consumer in your own country.
